Just like anywhere else in the world, Sesame Street is just as popular and beloved by kids and parents alike in Malaysia. The older generation have Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie, Big Bird and the Count amongst their favourite Muppets. Meanwhile, kids these days are all about Elmo, Zoe, Abby Cadabby and the newer set. Nonetheless, Sesame Street undoubtedly still rules despite an influx of newer programming and Malaysian productions. Mention anything Sesame Street and you'd have both parents as well as their offspring scrambling for a piece of the pie. They come in fashion clothing and accessories, stationery and, of course, toys, and Malaysians just can't get enough.
In the latest Sesame Street news, sports and street-style brand Puma have teamed up with Sesame Workshop to celebrate the show's 50th anniversary. The partnership sees a kids collection featuring the Muppets everywhere, from shoes to sweaters to schoolbags, and are now available in Malaysia. Ranging in price from RM79 to RM359, find the Puma X Sesame Street 50 collection at Puma KLCC and Sunway Pyramid.
Each piece in this Spring'19 collection feature either one or more of the Muppets or the colourful Puma x Sesame Street tape.
