A smoother ride
You’ve heard of Grab and Uber rides — while DACSEE (“Decentralized Alternative Cabs Serving & Empowering Everyone”) is similar, it’s the first social ride sharing platform in Malaysia. They offer more choices in terms of fare, vehicle size, and comfort by allowing riders to set up their own community groups.
Use JomParking when you’re in KL, Tawau in Sabah, Iskandar Puteri in Johor, Kota Bharu in Kelantan, Seremban, and Cybersquare in Cyberjaya. It also has three off-street parking sites: Terminal Bersepadu Selatan and LRT PWTC’s Parking Bay in KL, and TSI Sports Arena in Cyberjaya.
Smart Selangor Parking is for districts that fall under the state of Selangor, such as Sepang, Shah Alam, Ampang Jaya, Selayang, and Kajang. It’s also available in three languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin. A great thing about this app is that it will ping you when you have to top up your parking.
3. Moovit: Bus, Rail, Timetables, Maps
Go green this year by driving less and reducing your carbon footprint. Moovit will show you bus and train routes to your destination, as well as estimated travel time. We know well what traffic is like, so the bus timetables would vary. Hence, be sure to give yourself some leeway when travelling to work or important meetings.
