Cape Town’s Three Peaks in South Africa

Having done some abseiling activities at the Table Mountain and hiking back up has given me an idea of how this could be a lifting, beautiful experience – a perfect way to see the city’s beautiful shoreline, skyline and hills. There are three peaks; Lion’s Head (669m), Devil’s Peak (1000m) and Table Mountain (1086m), and if you have some time in Cape Town, take three days to tackle these reasonably easy (but steep) peaks and soak in the atmosphere. If you’re pressed for time, and the weather works in your favour, you can also cramp it all in a day. But that’s only if you’re physically good for it. The main attraction of the three peaks is the varied vista over Cape Town. If I had to pick one, I’d go with the Lion’s Head as it involves some adventurous climbing through ladders and chains fixed to the mountainside. The view from atop here is also considered the best between the three peaks.
